
Steve “Nino Brown” Schwarzman (if you don’t recognize that name, engulf your head in a bucket of sulfuric acid) recently gave $100,000,000 to the New York Public Library. And, per the rules of quid pro quo, Schwarzman wants to be recognized for doing so – in a tasteful manner of course. So instead of naming it the Schwarzman Public Library (as I would have demanded had I shelled out $100 mill), he requests his name to be displayed in five separate locations on the facade of the museum (see pic).
Ahh, despite the media’s obsession with calling our recession, well, a recession – it’s good to know avarice and self promotion are alive and well.
